1-Ton Truck and Tour Bus Collide at Yeosu Intersection, Woman in Her 30s Killed

A collision between a 1-ton truck and a tour bus at an intersection in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, resulted in the death of a woman in her 30s and injuries to 11 others.

At around 6:25 p.m. on April 27, 2026, a 1-ton truck and a tour bus collided at an intersection in Bonggye-dong, Yeosu. As a result of the accident, the female passenger in her 30s who was in the truck was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest but was ultimately pronounced dead.

Additionally, the truck driver and 11 others, including passengers on the tour bus, sustained injuries such as contusions, but none of their lives are believed to be in danger.

The police are currently clearing the accident scene and investigating the exact cause of the incident.
