This donation was made to share with the local community the white rice that was received as congratulatory wreaths during the 5th Buttong Calligraphy Annual Members' Exhibition held at Uijeongbu Arts Center from April 17 to 22. The donated rice will be distributed to vulnerable groups in the city through the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea.

Yoon Sunhee, CEO of Buttong Calligraphy, who attended the donation ceremony, said, "We wanted to share the warm support we received for the exhibition, which our members prepared with great care, with our neighbors. Just as we pour our hearts into every stroke of calligraphy, we hope this rice will be delivered to those in need with heartfelt encouragement."

An official from Yangju City commented, "It is truly moving to see Buttong Calligraphy members engage with the community through art and then share the fruits of their efforts with their neighbors. We will cherish their warm-hearted gesture, which spreads like the fragrance of art, and ensure it reaches those most in need."

Meanwhile, Buttong Calligraphy has consistently carried out sharing activities by donating rice wreaths received at each annual members' exhibition, including donations of 1,000 kg of white rice each in both 2024 and 2025.
