This advisory committee has been organized to enhance the expertise and effectiveness of feasibility studies for local fiscal investment projects, with over 40 experts from various fields expected to attend.

This year, the committee has improved its existing operation method by dividing the meetings into first and second halves of the year. In the first half, the focus will be on in-depth consultation and discussion within each subcommittee. Through this, more specialized and systematic feedback will be collected on sector-specific guideline research, including general guidelines, as well as guidelines for residential·commercial, culture·sports·tourism, and road·transportation sectors.

Local investment projects are a critical policy tool directly linked to revitalizing regional economies and improving residents' quality of life. Therefore, it is very important to examine the feasibility of each project objectively and precisely. In particular, as fiscal constraints have intensified recently, it has become even more important to set priorities among projects and to ensure policy effectiveness.

The Local Investment Project Management Center of the Korea Institute of Local Administration plans to reflect the opinions of experts from each field through this subcommittee advisory meeting to improve the feasibility study guidelines and evaluation system, thereby further strengthening the professionalism and credibility of local investment project management.
