AhnLab reported an increase in both revenue and operating profit for the first quarter of this year, driven by rising overseas sales, particularly in the Saudi Arabian market.

On April 27, AhnLab announced that on a consolidated basis, it posted revenue of 59.1 billion won and operating profit of 1.9 billion won for the first quarter of this year. Revenue rose by 3.3% and operating profit increased by 84.4% compared to the same period last year.

AhnLab stated, "We continue to deliver solid performance based on our product competitiveness and customer base," adding, "In particular, the increase in overseas sales centered on our Saudi Arabian joint venture 'Rakeen' has had a positive impact on our results."
