원본보기 아이콘On April 27, Kim Jung-gwan, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, commented on the Samsung Electronics union's planned strike, stating, "There needs to be consideration as to whether Samsung Electronics' profits belong solely to management and workers."
During a press briefing at the Government Complex Sejong that day, Minister Kim emphasized, "Since this is an industry that is connected to partner companies, shareholders, and even the nation, it cannot be viewed as a simple labor-management issue," and urged, "Given the importance of the semiconductor industry, labor and management should make a mature decision."
