NewJeans Recording Rumors in Copenhagen Involving Three Members...ADOR Says "Pre-Production Stage"

After claims emerged that the group NewJeans was preparing a new album in Copenhagen, Denmark, their agency ADOR announced on April 27 that this was part of the pre-production process to deliver a new musical narrative.

Recently, there have been a series of eyewitness accounts on online communities and social networking services (SNS) of Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein being seen in Copenhagen. It was also revealed that the local recording studio’s schedule included a reservation under ADOR’s name from April 13 to 17. On April 21, a photo of Hyein was uploaded to the official account, raising the possibility of a return to activities.

ADOR stated, "The members are each following their schedules according to their individual situations," adding, "We plan to announce future activities at the most appropriate time."

NewJeans experienced an exclusive contract dispute in November 2024, but in November last year, Haerin, Hanni, and Haerin returned to the group one after another. Minji is currently in discussions with the agency regarding her return.

Meanwhile, Danielle continues to be involved in legal disputes after leaving the team. ADOR notified Danielle of the termination of her exclusive contract and filed a lawsuit worth 43.1 billion won against Danielle's family and former CEO Min Hee Jin.
