ISSOFT, a company specializing in 3D solutions led by CEO Seo Hyunbae, announced that it will strengthen its integrated 3D metrology solution portfolio, encompassing both contact and non-contact measurement, by signing an official distributor agreement for FARO products in addition to its existing partnership with Creaform.

With the recent integration of Creaform and FARO into the “FARO CREAFORM” framework, ISSOFT has also become the official distributor for both brands, allowing the company to offer an integrated portfolio covering both product lines.

Through this lineup expansion, ISSOFT has established a system supporting both non-contact scanning and contact-based measurement. Customers can select and apply the most suitable measurement method for their specific process requirements through a single supply channel.

Creaform’s non-contact portable 3D scanners, based on blue laser technology, can capture millions of data points per second for complex geometries. The flagship model, “HandySCAN 3D Series,” enables rapid acquisition of high-resolution data on-site without the need for additional fixtures, and is suitable for a wide range of measuring environments, from small parts to large structures.

The newly supplied FARO contact measurement arm (FaroArm) measures specific points on a product directly using a probe, and is used for geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) analysis. In particular, it is highly effective in processes where the verification of hole positions, flatness, and perpendicularity is critical.

ISSOFT goes beyond equipment supply by providing software customization and automation system implementation, leveraging over 20 years of field experience. The company’s strength lies in its recent experience with MES integration and automated quality inspection systems, which enables it to deliver measurement systems tailored to each process environment.

Kang Juhui, Head of ISSOFT’s 3D Metrology Division, said, “With the addition of FARO alongside Creaform, our customers can now utilize both contact and non-contact equipment within a unified workflow. We will continue to expand the scope of applications tailored to on-site conditions.”

Since 2015, ISSOFT has been an official distributor of Creaform, and in 2023 achieved the highest distributor grade, “Strategic.” On this basis, the company has been recognized for its technical support capabilities and supply reliability, achieving the No. 1 position among domestic distributors for four consecutive years. At the upcoming SIMTOS 2026 exhibition, ISSOFT will unveil the integrated “FARO CREAFORM” solution for the first time in Korea, confirming the industry’s interest in and demand for integrated contact and non-contact measurement solutions.
