Changwon Fire Headquarters Choir, Bringing Music Wherever Citizens Gather

The Changwon Fire Headquarters in Gyeongnam established a choir last year to become more approachable to citizens.

The Changwon Fire Headquarters Choir was founded with the goal of communicating through music and contributing to the local community, and it is composed of firefighting officers.

Since last year, the choir has been active, beginning with singing the national anthem at the "Heart Saver Remember Day" event hosted by the Changwon Fire Headquarters at NC Park. They also gave an impressive performance at the "119 Firefighters’ Day" in-house event, receiving a great response from the audience.

With the support of popera singer Sung Kihyun and pianist Han Yeran, the choir members have been practicing every week. They are also scheduled to deliver another wonderful performance at Masan Robot Land this coming May.

Conductor Sung Kihyun stated, "Choral singing is an art that achieves true harmony by listening to and blending each other's voices. Together with the firefighters who protect our safety, we will continue to create moving performances for citizens."

Meanwhile, the Changwon Fire Headquarters Choir is continuously recruiting new members, and any employee of the Changwon Fire Headquarters who loves music is welcome to participate.
