This open performance was organized to enhance the brand value of "Hanam, the Center of K-Culture" and to expand opportunities for citizens to enjoy culture in their daily lives. The event began with a pre-show at 5:30 p.m. and featured a variety of artists from diverse genres over the course of about two hours, giving citizens an unforgettable spring night memory.

On site at Misa Lake Park, approximately 2,000 citizens, including families and couples, gathered and responded enthusiastically. The concert was also broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of Hanam City Hall, creating a festival that united both online and offline audiences.

The performance was smoothly hosted by "WeAreWeAn," Hanam's representative busking group. The pre-show featured a dynamic martial arts performance by Goil Taekwondo that captivated the audience. The main program included the powerful beats of the percussion group "Horae" and the sweet voices of the K-POP female duo "Omo." The energetic stage of the local youth dance team "Rainbow" and the EDM brass performance by "Deeper" heightened the excitement, while the finale by popular rapper "Kisum" brought all generations together and marked the peak of unity.

Lee Kyowook, CEO of the Hanam Cultural Foundation, met with citizens at the event and said, "I am overwhelmed with emotion to announce the start of busking in 2026 with so many citizens at the beautiful Misa Lake Park," adding, "Starting with this open concert, we will turn all of Hanam into a stage and build a global cultural city where citizens can enjoy high-quality culture anywhere."

Building on the success of this open concert, Hanam City will continue regular busking performances at key plazas throughout the city until October. This year, the events will be operated with tailored themes that maximize the unique characteristics of each area.

The Misa area (Misa Culture Street, Misa Lake Park), which attracts a large floating population of young people, will feature K-POP, dance, and indie band performances every Friday and Saturday, catering to the sentiments of Millennials & Gen Z. In particular, during Family Month in May, special shows for children, such as kids’ shows and magic performances, will be held at the stair plaza of Misa Lake Park.

In contrast, the old town area will offer tranquil performances such as folk songs and ballads inside Hanam City Hall Station every other Saturday, so that subway users can comfortably enjoy culture and art in their daily routines. To revitalize traditional markets, special planned performances will also be held at Deokpung Market and Sinjang Market. Through stages tailored to each market-such as trot, 70s-80s live performances, and Korean traditional music-the city aims to connect with citizens and breathe new life into traditional markets.

The Gam-il area (Gam-il Culture Park) and Wirye area (in front of Starfield City Wirye), both popular among family visitors, will present sophisticated and emotional stages such as classical and acoustic performances every other Saturday, providing cultural experiences that families can enjoy together.
