The Wolsong Nuclear Power Headquarters has continued its sponsorship for four consecutive years. Beyond simple support for a sports event, the headquarters supports this competition to promote the use of bicycles as an eco-friendly means of transportation and to contribute to the spread of social values such as achieving a carbon-neutral society.

Last year, over 500 athletes participated, making the Gyeongju Wind Hill National Hill Climb Competition a great success. This year, the event will again feature a total of 30 categories, including 15 cycling divisions and 15 MTB divisions.

The participation fee is 40,000 won, and all participants will receive commemorative gifts.

Registration is available on the Gyeongju Cycling Federation website from April 27 to May 15, with a limit of 500 participants, selected in the order of payment.

Detailed information, including competition guidelines, can be found on the website.

The Gyeongju Cycling Federation will thoroughly inspect the race sections to ensure there are no damaged road areas for participants’ safety and will request repairs for any damaged sections found.

In addition, on the day of the event, the Gyeongju Cycling Federation will collaborate with the Gyeongju Police Station and the Gyeongju Sports Council to control traffic along the race route and will deploy safety personnel throughout the course.
