MyRealTrip Enables Instant Confirmation for Japanese Restaurant Reservations via Integration with JapanTicket

Instant Reservation, Payment, and Confirmation
for Restaurants and Experiences Across Japan

MyRealTrip announced on April 27 that it has launched an application programming interface (API) integration with JapanTicket. With the JapanTicket network of restaurants and experiences across Japan now connected to MyRealTrip, users can instantly confirm reservations for local Japanese restaurant courses, cultural experiences, admission tickets, and more directly through the app.

JapanTicket operates a nationwide restaurant network in Japan based on its group company's restaurant reservation management system, Ebica, covering not only Tokyo and Osaka but also smaller cities. It also offers a variety of cultural experience products, such as sumo, ninja experiences, and Daruma doll painting.

The new API integration allows JapanTicket's inventory to be reflected in real time on MyRealTrip, enabling instant completion of the entire process from reservation to payment and confirmation. Users can pay in won through the Korean-language app, without needing to contact anyone in Japanese or prepare local payment methods.

A MyRealTrip representative commented, "Korean tourists have the highest proportion of food expenses in Japan, accounting for 27% among major countries visiting Japan. We have already sensed this demand while operating a special food feature page in partnership with JapanTicket." The representative added, "We aim to create an experience where the entire process of traveling to Japan is completed within MyRealTrip, so customers can focus on enjoying their trip without worrying about reservations."
