The 'inSaninHae Ansan Travel Character Catch Challenge' is a game-based program where participants use a mobile app to catch Ansan City characters that appear throughout the city. The first round, held from March to April, was themed around the '12 Scenic Views of Ansan,' and attracted more than 6,200 participants. It is scheduled to conclude on the 30th.

This second round will be held under the theme 'Ansan Encountered While Walking.' It will be conducted at a total of 27 locations, including Daebudo Island, major city walking trails, forest paths, and barefoot parks, where participants can search for characters. Those who participated in the first round are also eligible to join again.

Citizens and tourists wishing to participate can download the mobile app 'WalkOn' from the App Store or Play Store and join the 'inSaninHae Ansan Travel Character Catch Challenge' within the app. By visiting the points marked on the map and clicking to collect characters, participants can accumulate mileage points.

Additionally, if users verify their reviews of local restaurants and cafes through the app's bulletin board, they can participate in separate events. Depending on the accumulated mileage, participants can apply for souvenirs such as mobile gifticons or Ansan Daon Gift Certificate recharge vouchers, which will be awarded the following month through a monthly drawing.

Further details can be found starting from the 1st of next month on the 'Theme Travel - Character Catch Challenge' section of the Ansan City Culture & Tourism website.

Lee Sunhee, Director of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, said, "We hope that this challenge, held under a new theme, will help widely promote Ansan's excellent walking trails," adding, "We expect it will provide more opportunities for citizens and tourists to visit Ansan."
