On April 26 (local time), at TPC Louisiana (par 72) in Avondale, Louisiana, Matt Fitzpatrick and his brother Alex alternated shots with a single ball during the final round of the Zurich Classic, a PGA Tour team event with a total prize purse of 9.5 million dollars. The Fitzpatrick brothers carded a 1-under 71, finishing with a total of 31-under-par 257. They won by a single stroke over the pairings of Alex Smalley-Hayden Springer (USA) and Kristoffer Reitan-Kristian Krogh Johannessen (Norway).

Alex, who has been playing on the DP World Tour, earned his first PGA Tour victory and secured his PGA Tour card through 2028. The Fitzpatrick brothers took home a winner's purse of 2,745,500 dollars (approximately 4 billion won).
The Fitzpatrick brothers started the day with a four-shot lead and played steadily with three birdies through the 11th hole. However, they dropped two shots on the 12th hole (par 4), and recorded a bogey on the 14th hole (par 3), allowing their pursuers to catch up as they arrived at the 18th hole (par 5) tied for the lead. Even on the final hole, their second shot found the greenside bunker, but Matt executed a perfect bunker shot and Alex finished with a birdie putt to clinch the victory.
