The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on the 27th that they are accepting project applications for the "Global Game Localization Support" program, which aims to help Korean games expand globally, until the 8th of next month.

This program will select around 30 game projects and support three rounds of overseas user evaluations-one conducted offline and two conducted online. The online evaluations will involve at least 100 local users for each session.

An official from the Korea Creative Content Agency explained, "We will comprehensively review aspects such as language, difficulty, and immersion across five regions: North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America." The official added, "Based on the evaluation results, we will provide each developer with analysis materials on the localization level and marketability of their game."

Eligible applicants are game projects developed by domestic game developers that wish to launch directly overseas and have not been officially released in the target region. Applicants must have a playable build available.

Yoo Hyunseok, acting president of the Korea Creative Content Agency, stated, "We will continue to provide localization support so that domestic game developers can strengthen their competitiveness in the global market by reflecting real user feedback."
