Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province, announced that on the 25th and 26th, it held four community sports tournaments-sport climbing, baduk (Go), billiards, and bowling-at local sports facilities over two days.

The tournaments were designed to reflect the unique characteristics of each sport, enabling easy participation for all residents and bringing new energy to the local community. The event venues were filled with a lively atmosphere, driven by the enthusiastic support of families and citizens.
On the 25th, the 20th Namyangju City Mayor's Sport Climbing Tournament was held at the Namyangju Sports and Culture Center's artificial climbing wall. Around 140 athletes participated, taking on challenging courses and delivering dynamic performances.
On the same day, the 20th Namyangju City Mayor's Baduk Tournament was held in the seminar room of Wabu Library, where about 60 players competed in both Baduk and Omok. In particular, this Baduk tournament is being held sequentially by region from April 25 to June 13, making it more convenient for citizens to participate.
Continuing on the 26th, the 8th Namyangju City Council Chairman's Billiards Tournament took place in the Jinjeop-eup area, with approximately 330 players demonstrating sophisticated gameplay. Also on the same day, the 20th Namyangju City Mayor's Bowling Tournament was held at a bowling alley in the Hwado-eup area, where about 1,000 enthusiasts gathered for passionate competition.
Mayor Joo Kwangdeok visited each tournament venue to encourage the athletes as they showcased the skills they had honed over time.
