Sacheon Sea Cable Car Short-Form Contest Announced... Total Prize of 5.5 Million Won

The Sacheon City Facilities Management Corporation in South Gyeongsang Province announced on the 26th that it will hold the "2026 Sacheon Sea Cable Car Short-Form Contest" to promote the charm of the Sacheon Sea Cable Car and discover visitor-participation content.

This contest is themed around capturing special moments filmed on the cable car in short videos, with the aim of discovering creative content that features the scenery, travel scenes, and user experiences of the Sacheon Sea Cable Car.

The competition is open exclusively to short-form videos, and anyone in Korea can participate as an individual. Entries must be filmed directly when visiting the Sacheon Sea Cable Car.

A total of 5.5 million won in prize money will be awarded to the selected winners through the judging process. The prizes are as follows: 2 million won for one first-place winner, 1 million won each for two second-place winners, and 500,000 won each for three third-place winners. The results are expected to be announced in July.

The judging will comprehensively consider topic relevance, creativity, completeness, and view count.

Chairman Han Jaecheon stated, "We expect that vivid video content filmed on-site will help widely promote the beautiful scenery of Sacheon and the charm of the cable car."
