Jung Myungkeun: "Considering Expanding Free Vehicle Inspection Benefits to Livelihood Drivers"

Jung Myungkeun, the Democratic Party's candidate for Mayor of Hwaseong Special City, continued his public outreach tour for the second consecutive day by visiting the site of the "2026 Free Vehicle Inspection Service for People with Disabilities and Volunteers" held at Hwaseong Sports Complex on April 25. There, he held a discussion session with officials and listened to a variety of opinions.

On this day, Candidate Jung thoroughly toured the event, which was hosted by the Hwaseong Branch of the Gyeonggi Provincial Association of Professional Automobile Maintenance (headed by Shin Youngjun) and sponsored by the Parking and Transportation Division of Hwaseong Special City. He expressed his gratitude and stated that he would actively consider ways to extend the benefits of free inspections to vehicles used for livelihoods and those owned by neighbors in need.

The free inspection service covers vehicles registered in Hwaseong City that belong to people with disabilities, volunteers, national merit recipients, and social welfare facilities. A total of 23 inspection items are included, such as checking the vehicle's alternator, and some parts can be replaced free of charge.

Previously, on the day before, Candidate Jung had visited events such as a senior citizens' party, an infant and toddler family festival, and a family alumni sports event with high participation from the middle-aged demographic, conducting a campaign focused on intergenerational communication.
