Innovation Party Launches "Blue Gaebi" Election Committee: "Harnessing the Aspirations of the People for Reform"

The National Innovation Party has launched its Central Election Committee for the June 3 local elections.

On April 26, Secretary General Lee Hae-min held a press briefing at the National Assembly and introduced the "Blue Gaebi" Election Committee, which was formed for the local elections. He stated, "We will harness the clean winds that will change old politics and the aspirations of the people as the driving force for reform."

"Blue Gaebi" is an abbreviation of "Blue Pinwheel" and is represented by a logo featuring three blue lines on a white background. Secretary General Lee explained, "This signifies the party's commitment to clean politics, the elimination of insurrectionist forces and corruption, and the realization of an advanced society with enhanced social rights."

The committee is scheduled to hold its first meeting on April 27. The chairperson of the Central Election Committee is expected to be party leader Cho Kuk.
