Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 26th that the non-profit organization "Villages and People" hosted the "3rd The Family Festival Children's Sports Competition for Children and Youth" at the indoor gymnasium of the Namyangju Sports and Culture Center on the 25th.

Children and families using local child centers, the "Together Care Center," and the "Sangsangnuriter" participated in the festival, along with staff members. In total, about 380 people from 12 child welfare facilities-including eight in Namyangju, three in Anseong, and one in Pyeongtaek-joined the event, adding to its significance.
The day featured a variety of programs including a pre-event performance, an opening ceremony, a friendly sports day, experience booths, and other performances. Participating children engaged in group games and performances, sharing the values of cooperation and communication while creating joyful memories.
Joo Kwang-deok, Mayor of Namyangju, stated, "This event was a meaningful occasion where children and families could laugh, communicate, and create precious memories together. The participation of children from various regions further emphasized the value of exchange and solidarity. We will continue our efforts to create an environment where children and youth can grow up healthy."
Na Seong-cheon, representative of "Villages and People," said, "It was a meaningful time for children to run and play freely, relieve stress, and interact with one another. We will continue to promote a variety of programs for children and families in the future."
