During the event, a loud explosion was heard somewhere in the venue, and President Trump and other dignitaries seated at the head table on stage ducked under the table before evacuating.

According to major foreign news outlets, neither President Trump nor Vice President JD Vance showed any signs of injury. The suspect is also reported to have been apprehended by authorities.
