Junggu District in Daegu is implementing the "Youth Real Estate Brokerage Fee and Moving Expense Support Program" to help reduce housing costs for young people and support their stable settlement in the region.
This program targets young, non-homeowner heads of households aged 19 to 39, providing reimbursement for real estate brokerage fees and moving expenses, up to a maximum of 300,000 won per person once in their lifetime. First launched last year as the first of its kind among basic local governments in Daegu, it was recognized as a best practice and received a strong response.
Eligible applicants are young heads of households who have either completed a move-in report to Junggu after December 1, 2025, or reported a move after relocating within Junggu, whose household health insurance premium is at or below 150% of the median income, and who reside in a jeonse or monthly rental property with a transaction amount of 150 million won or less.
The support items include brokerage fees incurred when signing a lease and moving expenses such as personal freight, (semi-)packing moving services, and ladder truck usage fees. However, courier fees, cleaning costs, and transportation expenses are excluded from support.
Applications will be accepted from the 27th until November 30. Applicants must submit the application form and required documents via the designated staff member's email. After reviewing applications each month, the results will be individually notified, and the support funds for applications submitted in the previous month will be paid into the applicant's account by the 25th of the following month.
