The "Five Senses Trail" is an experiential program designed to promote trail tourism in Gangwon and operated as a complex content combining trail running and trekking. This event attracted a diverse range of participants, from runners who enjoy record-setting and challenges to general tourists seeking relaxation in nature, each enjoying the course in their own way. The event also gained further meaning by involving the local community of Wonju, thereby strengthening its symbolism as an experiential tourism content that breathes together with the region.

Participants experienced the nature of the Smoosan Dullegil, following routes structured by difficulty level, and enjoyed special experiences that stimulated their five senses: seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and feeling. They took in the breathtaking views along mountain and valley courses, listened to the sounds of flowing water, breathed in fresh forest scents, tasted local delicacies, and enjoyed a unique sensory healing experience that can only be found on the Smoosan Dullegil.

At the event site, booths selling local specialties and a Wonju tourist information center were also set up. Before the start, various experiential activities such as the Air Ball event, the Stick Grabbing game, and Run Gangwon were organized, further enhancing the atmosphere on site.

Additionally, in connection with the ongoing "Five Senses Trail Certification Challenge," participants actively took part in course certification using the location-based BAC app, adding even more enjoyment to the event.

Gangwon Tourism Foundation (CEO SungHyun Choi) successfully concluded the "Ogam Trail" event, promoted to revitalize Gangwon trail tourism, with about 1,500 participants on the 25th around the Smusandulle-gil area in Wonju. Provided by Gangwon Tourism Foundation

To give back part of the participation fee to the local community, participants were provided with items such as t-shirts, medals, sports socks, snacks, and local gift certificates. This led to a natural boost in local spending and tourism after the event.

Through this event, the Foundation reaffirmed the potential for expanding trail tourism content and plans to cultivate the "Five Senses Trail" as a representative experiential tourism brand for Gangwon in the future.

Sung Hyun Choi, CEO of Gangwon Tourism Foundation, stated, "This event in Wonju marked a meaningful new beginning for the 'Five Senses Trail.' Going forward, we will continue to lead sustainable tourism revitalization through various programs that allow people to experience Gangwon's nature and local communities together."

Detailed schedules, course information, and registration details for the upcoming "Five Senses Trail" event scheduled for May on the Isabu Trail in Samcheok will be released sequentially through the official website.
