Turned Herself In to Police After Incident at Home in Jangdeok-dong, Gwangju
A woman in her 40s was arrested by police after stabbing her husband in the abdomen with a weapon during a dispute over their child's education.
According to the Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station on April 26, Ms. A is accused of stabbing her husband, Mr. B, in the abdomen with a weapon at their home in Jangdeok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, the previous day.
Mr. B was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition, with no threat to his life.
Investigations have revealed that Ms. A committed the act during a quarrel with Mr. B over the discipline of their child.
The police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident and will consider whether to request an arrest warrant for Ms. A after the investigation.
