'Yeonggwang One Team' Unites Around Jang Seiil... Kicks Off General Election Campaign

Candidate Jang Seiil, who has been confirmed as the Democratic Party of Korea's candidate for Yeonggwang County governor, declared a 'One Team' along with the other candidates who participated in the primary, marking the transition to the general election phase.

On April 24, at the office of the Yeonggwang County chapter of the Democratic Party of Korea, Jang attended the One Team Resolution Meeting and stated, "With our united strength, we will surely achieve victory in the general election."

This resolution meeting was held immediately after the party's Supreme Council finalized the candidate selection process on April 23. The event carried significant meaning as all primary candidates gathered in one place to officially unite for victory in the general election.

The event was attended by Candidate Jang, National Assembly member Lee Gaeho, other primary candidates, and party members.

The meeting featured symbolic moments emphasizing unity and integration beyond the primary competition.

Lee Gaeho, the local party chair, along with the advisory council, presented bouquets to the candidates who were not selected in the primary as a gesture of consolation. The primary candidates, in turn, placed sashes on the confirmed nominees themselves, demonstrating their commitment to being a 'One Team.'

Jang remarked, "The sincerity and passion shown by the other candidates and supporters throughout the primary process are invaluable assets to Yeonggwang. Together, by uniting our good intentions and policies, we will create even greater achievements for Yeonggwang."

He further emphasized, "A competent local government is essential to support the successful administration of President Lee Jae-myung."

Meanwhile, the attendees jointly read aloud a One Team resolution, reaffirming their commitment to victory for the Democratic Party of Korea and to the development of the region.

After the resolution meeting, Candidate Jang and the participants visited the Memorial Tower to pay tribute to the fallen patriots and war heroes. They then visited Bulgapsa Temple, where they shared tea with Chief Monk Deoksang and reflected on the significance of local unity and integration.
