Jeong Myeonggeun, a preliminary candidate for mayor of Hwaseong from the Democratic Party of Korea, announced on the 24th that he will be accepting 'citizen policy proposals' aimed at making Hwaseong the leading city in Korea, built on a solid foundation.

Candidate Jeong stated, "The small ideas citizens feel in their daily lives become a powerful force for Hwaseong's future. I firmly believe that policies originate not from behind a desk, but from citizens' real lives, and I am eagerly awaiting your valuable suggestions."

He added, "We are looking forward to many policy suggestions aimed at addressing citizens' everyday inconveniences and promoting regional development. Policies proposed by citizens themselves for the future development of Hwaseong will be actively reflected in municipal administration. Policy suggestions are welcome in all areas, including transportation, environment, welfare, and more. Please do not hesitate to send in your valuable thoughts for Hwaseong's new transformation."

Meanwhile, on the same day, Candidate Jeong held an opening ceremony at his election office located in Byeongjeom-gu, Hwaseong-si, officially launching his full-scale campaign for re-election.
