Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 24th that it held a completion ceremony for the reconstruction project of the Pyeongnae 33 Village Hall at 588-19 Pyeongnae-dong.

원본보기 아이콘Approximately 100 people attended the ceremony, including Joo Gwangdeok, Mayor of Namyangju, as well as provincial and city council members, and local community representatives, celebrating the new beginning of the village hall together.
This project was carried out to demolish the aging village hall and provide residents with a safe and convenient environment. During the process, residents directly participated through preliminary meetings and briefing sessions to discuss facility composition and utilization plans, adding further significance as a resident-participatory project.
The newly built village hall has a total floor area of 138.38 square meters and is a single-story structure, featuring three meeting rooms, a multipurpose room, a storage room, and a rooftop garden. This space is expected to serve as a venue for communication and harmony among local residents in the future.
