Compared to the same period last year, sales increased by 18.3% and operating profit rose by 12.5%. The company explained that the growth was driven by the expansion of its AM (aftermarket) business focused on ship parts and services, as well as increased sales from its bunkering business.

The AM segment saw sales growth centered on large engines and medium-sized Himsen engines, with new orders such as the Ecuador Electric Power Corporation power plant maintenance contract leading to a 21.4% increase year-on-year. The number of vessels serviced through AM surpassed a cumulative total of 10,000 ships.

The digital solutions segment also maintained its growth trend, with sales up 33.3% from the previous year, supported by an expanded product lineup including the integrated control system (ECS) applied to Anduril unmanned surface vessels.

Sales in the eco-friendly solutions segment declined due to a base effect from large-scale retrofitting projects in the previous year. However, the company expects performance to improve as its secured order backlog will be reflected from the second half of the year.

HD Hyundai Marine Solution recently established a global logistics hub in Singapore to strengthen supply chain competitiveness. Following its hub in Busan, the company has established a "Busan-Singapore dual hub" system by adding the Singapore base.

This hub, which covers an area of approximately 17,000 square meters, maintains a constant inventory of more than 10,000 types of parts and manages inventory based on demand data to meet global vessel operation needs. Through this, the company has built a supply chain connecting over 200 shipping companies and more than 600 ports. As a result, the parts supply lead time is expected to be reduced by up to 16 days, and transportation costs by up to 38%.

A company representative stated, "We will strengthen the competitiveness of our high-value-added AM business and expand our eco-friendly and digital businesses," adding, "Through the Singapore logistics hub, we aim to further enhance the efficiency of our global supply chain and our responsiveness to customers."
