Singer Seungjun Yu made a surprise appearance at Tae Jinah's concert.
On the 23rd, Seungjun Yu uploaded a video titled "'What Happens When Seungjun Yu Suddenly Appears on Tae Jinah's Stage' 'A Reaction No One Expected'" on his official YouTube channel, 'Seungjun Yu.'
He visited Tae Jinah's solo concert held in April last year at the Yaamava’ Resort in California, USA.
On stage that day, Tae Jinah introduced him by saying, "He is a singer living in LA," and "Our Seungjun Yu is here today."
In response, Seungjun Yu stood up and bowed 90 degrees to the audience. Middle-aged and older audience members at the venue welcomed him with applause and shook his hand.
In particular, audience members seated nearby patted Seungjun Yu on the shoulder and offered words of encouragement, while one elderly fan expressed regret, asking, "Are you still unable to return to Korea?" Overwhelmed by the unexpected warm welcome, Seungjun Yu could not hold back his tears.
Seungjun Yu debuted in 1997 with "Scissors," and became one of the biggest stars of his time with hit songs such as "Na Na Na" and "Passion." However, in 2002, he became embroiled in controversy over draft evasion after obtaining U.S. citizenship just before his military service, and was banned from entering Korea by the Ministry of Justice.

Although he won twice at the Supreme Court, the Consulate General in LA refused to issue the visa, and he is currently undergoing an appellate trial for the cancellation of the third visa denial.
Meanwhile, last month Seungjun Yu accelerated his comeback by releasing a surprise music video. He posted a music video titled "HOME HOME YSJ ver." on his personal YouTube channel, stating, "I plan to showcase more work in the future."
