The Goryeong Regional Self-Sufficiency Center in North Gyeongsang Province organized a movie screening at Daegaya Cinema on April 23, where more than 100 participants, including seniors receiving customized care and their caregivers, enjoyed a film together.
This event was designed to allow local seniors and caregivers to enjoy cultural activities together, strengthening their emotional bonds and promoting mutual communication and harmony, with the aim of creating a more positive care environment and organizational culture.
The movie screening provided an opportunity for attendees to step away from their daily routines, experience emotional stability, and enjoy themselves. In particular, this program is expected not only to offer a cultural experience but also to promote intergenerational empathy and communication, improving the quality of life for seniors and helping to alleviate social isolation.
An official from Goryeong County stated, "We will help seniors grow closer with their caregivers through shared experiences and will continue to support happy later years for seniors through a variety of cultural and emotional support programs."
