KGM has continued to post profits for six consecutive quarters since the fourth quarter of 2024, driven by increased domestic sales volume following the launch of the Musso, favorable foreign exchange rates, and improved profitability.

In the first quarter, total sales volume reached 27,077 units, including 11,469 units sold domestically and 15,608 units exported. This represents a 4.1% increase compared to the same period last year, with a significant rise in domestic sales volume.

For domestic sales, the Musso (4,370 units) and Musso EV (2,153 units) together accounted for 6,523 units, making up more than 50% of the total domestic volume and leading the upward trend. This marks a significant 40.1% increase year-on-year.

KGM expects that, once the global launch of the Musso gets fully underway, both domestic and export volumes will further increase. In Korea, the company is carrying out a variety of marketing initiatives to strengthen brand communication and expand customer touchpoints, including hosting the 'KGM Tuning Festival Season 2' and signing an official partnership for the '2026 UCI MTB World Series.'

Internationally, after holding a large-scale dealer conference in Germany this February, KGM launched the Actyon Hybrid earlier this month and held a test drive event. Last month, Chairman Kwak Jaeseon of KGM visited Vietnam to meet with Kim Long Motors, a KD partner of the FUTA Group, where he inspected the production site and discussed detailed cooperation plans.

A KGM representative stated, "With the recovery of domestic sales in the first quarter, we have surpassed 1 trillion won in revenue and exceeded 20 billion won in operating profit for two consecutive quarters, signaling a positive outlook for the year. In addition to strengthening cooperation with global dealers, we plan to further boost sales volume and profitability through aggressive market strategies, including differentiated, customer-centric marketing."
