Neptune, in collaboration with its parent company Krafton, has established a local subsidiary in India and is expanding its advertising technology platform globally.
On April 24, Neptune announced the establishment of its local subsidiary, "Krafton Ad Platform India," in Delhi, India. Neptune explained that this move is part of its strategy to globalize its adtech platform business, one of its three key strategic new businesses.
The CEO of the Indian subsidiary is Yulbin Kang, who also serves as CEO of Neptune. As a resident registered executive director, Jonghyuk Kim, Vice President overseeing strategy and e-sports at Krafton's Indian subsidiary, has been appointed.
Neptune cited Krafton's user traffic and data as the reasons for choosing the Indian market. "Battlegrounds Mobile India," which has become a leading mobile game in India, boasts mega traffic with over 260 million cumulative subscribers.
Using the Indian subsidiary as a base, Neptune also plans to create synergy with its ongoing hybrid casual game publishing business jointly operated with Krafton.
Yulbin Kang, CEO of Neptune, stated, "Starting with India, we will build a data-driven integrated adtech platform in the global market, providing optimal solutions while simultaneously accelerating efforts to enhance corporate value."
