Coway Launches Two New 'Squarefit Air Purifier' Models Targeting Medium-Sized Spaces

Enhanced Air Purification in a Slim-Sized Design
Coway announced on April 24 that it has launched two new models (50㎡ and 66㎡) in its 'Squarefit Air Purifier' series, which feature enhanced air purification capabilities in a slim-sized design.
The Squarefit Air Purifier series is an entry-level lineup characterized by excellent purification efficiency and a minimalist design despite its compact size. It was developed targeting customers who want a product with high purification performance that does not take up much space. Following the existing Squarefit Air Purifier models covering 38㎡ and 82㎡, Coway has expanded the range of choices for customers by introducing the 50㎡ and 66㎡ models, which effectively cover medium-sized areas.
Compared to previous models of the same coverage, the new models have reduced volume by approximately 48% and 35%, respectively, and the footprint has been reduced by about 30%. This maximizes space efficiency, allowing users to conveniently place the purifier anywhere even in rooms that are not spacious. The new models come in four color options to suit different tastes and interiors: Sand Beige, Pure White, Sage Green, and Pebble Gray.
The two Squarefit Air Purifier models maintain indoor air quality through a differentiated filter system. They can remove 99.999% of ultra-fine dust as small as 0.01μm (micrometers), and offer customized air management with Coway’s specialized Air Matching Filter technology. The Air Matching Filter can be selected and installed based on living environment and lifestyle, with options such as the 'Pet Filter' for households with pets, the 'Allergen Filter' specialized for removing allergens like dust mites and pollen, the 'Fine Dust Intensive Filter', and the 'Double Deodorization Filter'. The product has also been certified by the British Allergy Foundation (BAF) for its proven performance in removing allergy-causing substances.
The purifier automatically adjusts its airflow according to air pollution levels. It measures real-time air quality and intuitively displays the condition using four different colors. When Eco Mode is selected, it automatically switches to power-saving operation once indoor air is clean, and resumes operation if pollution is detected, thus minimizing unnecessary energy consumption. In Sleep Mode, it operates at a low noise level of 21dB (decibels), comparable to the sound of rustling leaves, providing a quiet and comfortable sleeping environment.
User convenience has also been enhanced. The top section, where purified air is emitted, is made with anti-static materials to minimize dust accumulation. The top outlet and micro-mesh pre-filter are easy to detach, allowing for simple water washing and hygienic maintenance.
