"Sincere Tax Payment, the Strength of Korea"... Daegu Regional Tax Office?Samsung Lions Promotional Event

Daegu Regional Tax Office (headed by Min Juwon) held a tax administration promotional event at Daegu Samsung Lions Park on April 23, targeting citizens visiting the baseball stadium to raise awareness about the importance of faithful tax payment.

This event was organized in collaboration with the Samsung Lions baseball team, which invited representatives of outstanding local companies who were selected as exemplary taxpayers this year. The initiative aimed to foster a culture in which taxpayers who diligently fulfill their tax obligations are respected and given preferential treatment in society, and was jointly promoted with the Daegu Regional Tax Office.

Prior to the start of the game, a ceremonial first pitch and batting event was held. Kim Taeyoung, CEO of PHG Co., Ltd. and recipient of a Presidential Commendation, threw the first pitch from the mound, while Min Juwon, head of the Daegu Regional Tax Office, took the ceremonial bat, receiving enthusiastic support from the citizens in attendance.

Notably, during the game, a large electronic display in the stadium featured the phrase "Sincere tax payment is the strength of Korea", along with a video introducing the exemplary taxpayers invited to the event, providing an opportunity to communicate with the packed crowd about the culture of faithful tax payment.

Min Juwon, head of the Daegu Regional Tax Office, expressed deep gratitude to the Samsung Lions baseball team for organizing such a meaningful event to honor exemplary taxpayers. He stated, "We will make multifaceted efforts to ensure that diligent taxpayers, who serve as a solid pillar of national finances, can take pride in their contributions." He also emphasized, "Even in challenging economic conditions, we will spare no effort in providing tax administration support to local businesspeople who contribute to employment and exports, and we will strive to offer tax services that are both warm and fair, in line with public expectations."
