HD Hyundai Site Solutions Obtains S Mark Safety Certification for Electric Forklifts

HD Hyundai Site Solutions recently received the 'S Mark' safety certification from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency. This certification covers 17 models of small electric forklifts with a capacity of up to 3.5 tons, and the company plans to expand the range of certified models in the future.

The 'S Mark' is a certification awarded based on a comprehensive evaluation of product safety and the manufacturer's quality management capabilities. To obtain this certification, products must pass all stages, including technical document review, workplace inspection, and product testing.

HD Hyundai Site Solutions explained that, with this certification, it has secured objective credibility regarding the safety of its equipment. Additional benefits are anticipated, such as eligibility for government subsidies, policy fund loans, and recommendations for procurement by public institutions when purchasing certified products.

The share of electric forklifts in the domestic forklift market has expanded to about 60%. Demand for eco-friendly and low-noise equipment is increasing, particularly in logistics centers and urban work environments.

HD Hyundai Site Solutions plans to expand its annual electric forklift sales, currently around 1,500 units, and increase its market share.

A company representative stated, "This is the result of being recognized for both product safety and our quality management system," adding, "We will provide highly reliable products by expanding the range of certified models."
