On April 23, Gyeonggi Province conducted anti-corruption and integrity training for all employees.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Audit Committee announced that the training was held at Dasan Hall in the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Building on the same day. The session was attended by senior officials, including Kim Sungjoong, the 1st Deputy Governor, as well as new and recently promoted employees. The purpose of the training was to spread the value of integrity within the public sector and to strengthen employees' capacity for voluntary integrity practices.
This training was designed to highlight the importance of practicing integrity in everyday situations, which can often be overlooked, in order to raise the overall integrity level of the institution and to create an environment for fair work practices.

The main topics covered included regulations prohibiting improper conduct using official authority-an area of growing importance in the public sector-and case studies of violations of anti-corruption laws. In particular, moving away from rote learning, the training was structured in an interactive manner, including activities such as an 'integrity quiz,' to increase employee engagement and enhance the effectiveness of the training.
Kim Sungjoong, the 1st Deputy Governor of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "This training will serve as an opportunity for all employees, from senior officials to new and recently promoted staff, to renew their awareness of integrity," adding, "We will continue to provide ongoing training and improve our systems to build a transparent Gyeonggi Province that earns the trust of its residents."
