Busan Digital Asset Exchange Bidan announced on the 23rd that it was selected in the Innovative Brand category at the 18th Creative Management 2026 Awards and received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award.

Bidan has increased accessibility to real-world assets (RWAs) by enabling the trading of tokenized physical assets. Users can buy and sell seven types of precious metals, including gold, silver, copper, and platinum, in digital asset form, and the product lineup is expected to expand to various physical assets such as coffee and coffee beans.

After acquiring the real-world asset platform of Korea Exchange Digital Asset in September last year, Bidan achieved a turnaround to profitability within three months through improvements to its business structure and enhanced brand communication. Notably, this platform, which recorded an operating loss of 4.89 billion won in 2024, achieved an operating profit of 2.82 billion won last year, and posted an operating profit of 4.18 billion won in the first quarter of this year.

Bidan is the nation’s first digital asset exchange established with 100% private capital under the initiative of a local government, and is accessible via a mobile app 23 hours a day, 365 days a year. As of last month, it had accumulated 124 members and posted a cumulative transaction volume of 1.94 trillion won.
