Cheorwon County plans to further expand the number of participating merchants currently in operation, thereby broadening the scope of benefits that visitors can enjoy.
The recruitment is open to all businesses operating legally within Cheorwon County that provide services to tourists, including accommodations, restaurants, cafes, and experience facilities. Business owners who wish to participate can apply by preparing the application form and business registration certificate and submitting them in person or via email by May 20.
Merchants selected as participants will have opportunities for promotion through the Korea Tourism Organization’s official promotional channel “Travel Korea,” as well as on the Cheorwon County website and official social media channels. They will also receive priority promotional support in connection with various tourism projects promoted by the county.
Iksoo Kim, Head of the Tourism Policy Office of Cheorwon County, stated, “This recruitment of merchants is a process of building a strong link between local small business owners and tourists. Through the Digital Tourism Resident ID, we will naturally encourage on-site spending by the resident population and operate the program in a way that provides practical benefits to the local commercial sector.”
Detailed information on the recruitment and the application form can be found in the announcement on the Cheorwon County website or through the county’s official social media channels.
