Gimcheon City Works to Create a Pleasant Living Environment

The Department of Architecture of Gimcheon City, North Gyeongsang Province, took the lead in creating a cleaner Gimcheon by carrying out environmental cleanup activities on April 22 in the Yeonhwaji area, one of the city's major tourist attractions.

This initiative brought together around 30 participants, including staff from the Department of Architecture, the Department of Sports Industry, and the Daesindong administrative office. They collected trash and household waste from the parks, residential areas, and alleyways near Yeonhwaji, which had become crowded due to visiting tourists, thereby contributing to a more pleasant living environment.

An official from the Department of Architecture stated, "We will continue to do our best to create a cleaner Gimcheon that citizens can truly experience by conducting regular environmental cleanup activities in the future."
