On the 22nd, Barun signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation in the energy and infrastructure sectors with KMAC. This agreement was established to respond to the recent trend in which key issues in the energy and infrastructure sectors are evolving into complex challenges requiring not only legal review but also management strategies, organizational operations, and financial feasibility assessments. The two companies plan to offer integrated solutions by combining Barun's legal expertise with KMAC's management consulting capabilities.

KMAC provides consulting services across the full spectrum of national infrastructure, including energy policy design for carbon neutrality, hydrogen energy, and nuclear power, as well as transportation, aviation, and port operations. Barun has extensive advisory experience ranging from traditional power generation to renewable energy, public-private partnership (PPP) projects in roads and railways, and international power project (IPP) investment and development.

Going forward, the two companies will closely cooperate in four main areas: ▲ joint development of new business opportunities and consortium participation ▲ establishment of an integrated advisory model covering strategy, organization, and legal affairs ▲ cross-selling to their existing customer bases ▲ hosting joint seminars and publishing policy reports.

Lee Donghoon, Managing Partner at Barun, said, "In the energy and infrastructure sectors, the ability to respond to regulations and predict legal risks is crucial to business success. By combining KMAC's strategic capabilities with our expertise, we will proactively manage our clients' complex risks." Han Soohee, CEO of KMAC, commented, "In the rapidly changing energy industry environment, clients are seeking comprehensive solutions that integrate management strategies and legal risk management, rather than fragmented advice. By merging KMAC's sharp industry expertise with Barun's solid legal proficiency, we aim to set a new business standard in the energy and infrastructure markets."
