On April 22 (local time), all three major U.S. stock indexes closed higher.
On this day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.69% compared to the previous trading day. The S&P 500 index, which focuses on large-cap stocks, ended up by 1.05%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq index increased by 1.64% at the close of trading.
