Icheon City to Host "Coupang Icheon Region Large-Scale Job Fair"... Full-Scale Customized Job Creation for Companies Begins

Icheon City, Gyeonggi Province will host the "Coupang Icheon Region Large-Scale Job Fair" on May 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., in the main conference room on the first floor of Icheon City Hall.

This job fair will see participation from seven centers in the Icheon and Gwangju (Gyeonggi Province) regions and aims to recruit a total of 230 employees. Positions such as on-site managers and logistics staff will be available. Job seekers can receive recruitment information and consultations on-site, and also have the option to apply in advance by using the QR code at the bottom of the event poster.

This event is an extension of the "Customized Job Creation for Companies" business agreement signed between Icheon City and Coupang Fulfillment Services (CFS) in March 2025. At that time, both parties agreed to systematically nurture customized local talent, create stable jobs in connection with the Coupang Fulfillment Center, and cooperate to revitalize the local economy.

Since last year, Icheon City has been operating a logistics field specialist training program (forklift operation) that includes on-site practice. Through this job fair, the city plans to help job seekers and companies directly experience the tangible outcomes of the agreement and to further expand local job matching efforts.

An Icheon City official stated, "This job fair is a concrete job-matching event being carried out following the business agreement with Coupang Fulfillment Services in March of last year. We hope this will be a valuable opportunity for citizens seeking employment."
