A meeting was held to listen to the tax-related challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in the Gwangju area and to explore ways to provide support. On April 22 at 3 p.m., the Gwangju Regional Tax Office held a field communication meeting in the conference room on the 2nd floor of Gwangju Technopark, attended by executives and members of the Gwangju branch of the Korea Federation of Women Entrepreneurs.

원본보기 아이콘The purpose of this meeting was to share the tax administration difficulties experienced by local women entrepreneurs and to seek effective support measures. At the event, information was provided on tax systems that are helpful for business operations, such as the taxpayer rights protection system and corporate tax deduction and exemption programs.
During the ensuing exchange of opinions, participants raised requests for extending tax payment deadlines and alleviating the burden of tax audits on small and medium-sized enterprises. Various views on these topics were discussed.
In her greeting, President Lee Minsun said, "I am very pleased to be part of this meaningful occasion where we can share the real voices of women entrepreneurs regarding tax administration," adding, "I hope that through this meeting, we can work together to create a healthier and more vibrant economic environment."
Kim Hakseon, Commissioner of the Gwangju Regional Tax Office, expressed his gratitude by saying, "I sincerely thank the women entrepreneurs who have faithfully paid their taxes even in these difficult economic circumstances both domestically and internationally," and added, "We will do our best to provide active tax administration support so that local business people can focus solely on their management activities."
