This project is a government development assistance (ODA) initiative funded by the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) operated by the Export-Import Bank of Korea. The project involves the construction of the Ninh Cuong Bridge (890 meters in length) and an access road (760 meters in length) in the Ninh Binh province of Vietnam. The total contract amount is approximately 25.2 billion won.

An Ilsung Construction representative stated, "The Ninh Cuong Bridge project is the fifth ODA infrastructure project that Ilsung Construction has won in Vietnam, and it is a meaningful project that demonstrates our stable entry into the Vietnamese public construction market. Moving forward, we plan to use this project as a springboard to continuously expand our business portfolio not only in Vietnam but also across the entire Southeast Asian region."

Ilsung Construction officially entered the Vietnamese market in 2022, beginning with the 'Ben Moi Bridge Construction Project.' The company subsequently won contracts for the 'Kenh Net Railway Improvement Project Section 1' in 2023, the 'Kenh Net Railway Improvement Project Section 2' in 2024, and the 'Dong Cao Bridge Construction Project' in 2025. Among these, the Ben Moi Bridge Construction Project and the Kenh Net Railway Improvement Project Sections 1 and 2 have already been successfully completed, while the Dong Cao Bridge Construction Project is currently underway.

Additionally, Ilsung Construction has continued to secure contracts for ODA infrastructure and construction projects such as roads and bridges in major Southeast Asian countries, including Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos, solidifying its position as a competitive Korean construction company in the Southeast Asian construction and infrastructure market.
