On April 20, a pair of white-naped cranes, winter migratory birds, and a black-faced spoonbill, a summer migratory bird, were captured together in one scene at the Suncheon Bay Restoration Wetland.

Recently, a breeding site for black-faced spoonbills was discovered on an uninhabited island in the Byeollyang-myeon area of Suncheon Bay. The black-faced spoonbill observed on this occasion is also drawing attention, as it is likely to be associated with the habitat range around Suncheon Bay.

The sight of migratory birds from different seasons coexisting in the same space once again highlights the rich ecological value of Suncheon Bay.
