Recently, the main source of stress for apartment residents has shifted from noise between floors to parking issues. According to a recent survey, 33% of complaints filed over the past year were related to parking, making it the most common issue-surpassing complaints about noise between floors (20%) and smoking (19%).
As of June 2025, the cumulative number of registered vehicles in Korea exceeded 26.4 million, meaning one out of every two people owns a car. As a result, experts now suggest that considering visitor vehicles and other factors, approximately 1.5 parking spaces per household are necessary.
In response to this trend, Hanwha Forena Busan Dangri, located in Dangni-dong, Saha-gu, Busan, is drawing attention for its outstanding parking conditions in the area. Hanwha Forena Busan Dangri has secured a total of 799 parking spaces for the apartment complex, providing approximately 1.47 parking spaces per household. The complex is accepting contracts from April 21 through April 22, the publication date of this article.
This figure is significantly higher than the average number of parking spaces per household in new apartment complexes in the Saha-gu area, which currently ranges between 1.08 and 1.27.
In fact, for new complexes near Hanwha Forena Busan Dangri that were completed between 2021 and 2022, the number of parking spaces per household ranges from about 1.08 to 1.19, barely exceeding 1.1. Even complexes supplied relatively recently still provide only about 1.23 to 1.27 spaces per household, not exceeding 1.3. While these numbers meet the legal requirements, once residents have lived there for about five years, it becomes challenging to find parking spaces late at night.
In contrast, Hanwha Forena Busan Dangri has secured at least 0.2 to nearly 0.4 more spaces per household, offering 1.47 parking spaces per unit, thereby significantly reducing physical parking stress for residents.
The complex is proceeding with official contract signings through today, April 22.
Meanwhile, Hanwha Corporation Construction Division is in charge of construction, and the Dangni 2nd District Redevelopment Maintenance Project Association is responsible for sales. Hanwha Forena Busan Dangri consists of two basement floors and 28 above-ground floors, with a total of 543 units. Of these, 209 units sized between 59 and 115 square meters are available for general sale. The complex boasts a prime location with access to both Dangni and Saha subway stations on Line 1, renowned school districts, and diverse lifestyle infrastructure. The model home is located in the Myeongji-dong area of Gangseo-gu, Busan.
