The total prize money for the Chevron Championship, the first major tournament of the 2026 LPGA Tour season, has been increased to 9 million dollars (approximately 13.3 billion won).

원본보기 아이콘The LPGA Tour office announced on April 21 (local time) that the total prize fund for the Chevron Championship has been set at 9 million dollars, up 1 million dollars from last year's 8 million dollars. The winner's prize has been determined at 1.35 million dollars (about 2 billion won).
In addition, the consolation payment for players who do not make the cut has been raised from 5,000 dollars to 10,000 dollars (approximately 14.81 million won).
This year's Chevron Championship will be held for four days starting April 22 at Memorial Park Golf Course (par 72) in Houston, Texas, United States.
