BigHit Music announced on April 22 that the music video for CORTIS's new song "REDRED" has topped the YouTube Global Chart.
The title track "REDRED" from CORTIS's second mini-album reached No. 1 on YouTube's "Trending Worldwide" chart on April 21, the day after its release. This chart ranks videos by combining views and growth rates for YouTube music videos and performance clips.
The "REDRED" music video surpassed 3.2 million views within just one day of its release. As of 7 a.m. on April 22, it appeared on YouTube's trending music charts in 24 countries. Notably, it ranked 22nd on the U.S. YouTube trending music chart and is also garnering attention from North American listeners, ranking 13th in Canada. In Korea, it climbed from 25th at 10 a.m. on April 21 to 17th at 7 a.m. the next day, an eight-place rise.
CORTIS maintained the No. 1 spot in Taiwan and reached No. 1 in Vietnam, No. 3 in Indonesia, No. 7 in Malaysia, and No. 8 in Singapore. In Europe, the group entered the charts in Sweden (12th), Denmark (13th), and the United Kingdom (20th). In the Middle East, the song drew attention in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia (24th).
As of 6 a.m. on April 22, "REDRED" ranked among the iTunes "Top Songs" in 14 countries. It held the No. 1 position for two consecutive days in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The group's previously released first mini-album, "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES," is also attracting attention. This album ranked No. 1 in the "World Albums" section of the Billboard chart dated April 25. It also re-entered at No. 7 on the "Top Album Sales" chart, which reflects physical album sales in the United States. According to Circle Chart dated April 4, the album sold 2,069,663 copies, setting a new record for the highest debut album sales by a K-pop artist.
At 10 p.m. on April 22, CORTIS will release a performance video for "REDRED" on the YouTube channel "STUDIO CHOOM." The group is also scheduled to appear on Mnet's "M Countdown" on April 23 and KBS2's "Music Bank" on April 24 as they continue their promotional activities.
