Each institution works in coordination to identify youth in crisis and explore ways to support them.
During the review on this day, five youth were confirmed as recipients of special support for the first half of this year. These recipients will receive living expenses or educational support ranging from 150,000 won to 650,000 won per month for up to one year.
The meeting also highlighted the need for tailored support that reflects the complex challenges faced by youth, such as dropping out of school, family conflicts, and psychological or emotional issues. In addition, the committee discussed ways to strengthen cooperation among institutions to identify at-risk youth early and provide continuous management.
An Iksan City official stated, "We will continue to build a comprehensive safety net for youth so that those in need can receive timely support."
