Shin Youngje Accelerates 'Livelihood Campaign'... "Will Ensure Uninterrupted Development for Hongcheon"

Shin Youngje, the preliminary candidate for Hongcheon County Governor, accelerated his "citizen communication campaign" on the 21st by consecutively visiting sites related to local livelihoods and regional issues.

Shin began his schedule early in the morning by visiting the Hongcheon Traditional Five-Day Market. He greeted each resident and merchant who visited the market for the market day, shaking hands and personally checking the prices of goods in shopping baskets to listen to the public sentiment.

At the scene, Shin stated, "Traditional markets are the heart of Hongcheon’s economy and the very foundation of our residents’ lives," adding, "Based on the economic groundwork laid during the 8th popularly elected administration, I will introduce practical economic stimulus measures that small business owners and merchants can truly feel, breathing new vitality into the local marketplace."

At 2 p.m., he visited the site of the 'Peaceful Unification Civic Education' event hosted by the Hongcheon County Democratic Peaceful Unification Advisory Council, held at the K-Convention in Hongcheon-eup, where he spent time communicating with citizens. Shin remarked, "With the advent of the metropolitan railway era, Hongcheon will emerge as the core city of the Yeongseo region, where security and the economy converge," and continued, "By creating a 'future-oriented convergence city' that coexists with the Seoul metropolitan area, I will further elevate Hongcheon’s status."

Next, Shin visited 'Hongcheon Youth Start Farm' located in Yeongguimi-myeon, where he encouraged the passion of young farmers and held an on-site meeting. He stated, "Agriculture is both the root and the future of Hongcheon," and explained, "By fostering Hongcheon’s own agricultural machinery and equipment industry, I will establish a 'sustainable agricultural environment' in which young people can earn stable incomes through smart technology instead of hard labor."

Regarding urban residential environment improvement, he added, "Rather than superficial projects, we need genuine spatial innovation that respects residents’ asset value and enhances daily convenience," and continued, "By creating mini new towns and renovating old urban areas, I will raise the quality of Hongcheon and build premium residential complexes where everyone can feel a sense of pride in living."

Meeting residents on site, Shin emphasized, "It was only by working together with the people of Hongcheon that we were able to usher in the era of a 1 trillion won budget and achieve the miracle of passing the preliminary feasibility study for the metropolitan railway during the four years of the 8th popularly elected administration," and stressed, "With my proven administrative capabilities managing a 1 trillion won budget, I will complete the blueprint for Hongcheon’s next 100 years without interruption."

Meanwhile, Shin Youngje plans to continue his communication campaign by visiting various livelihood sites and listening attentively to even the smallest voices of the residents.
