This meeting was organized as a follow-up to the investment briefing held in September of last year. It aims to encourage systematic participation from private companies and discuss practical cooperation measures to establish Pyeongtaek Jije Station as a true next-generation transportation hub, ahead of the confirmed extension of the GTX-A and C lines and the opening of the Suwon-origin KTX route.

More than 20 working-level representatives from 10 major domestic construction and related companies, including Hyundai Engineering & Construction, attended the meeting. Pyeongtaek City introduced the future vision and business direction of the complex transfer center through the meeting, while also expressing a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of the project through a close network with private companies.

A Pyeongtaek City official stated, "As the Pyeongtaek Jije Station next-generation complex transfer center is a core challenge that will reshape the map of Pyeongtaek, close practical cooperation with companies that have expressed their intention to participate is essential. We will do our utmost to ensure that Pyeongtaek Jije Station is reborn as a key transportation hub and new economic center representing southern Gyeonggi Province, through active communication and consultation with related organizations and private companies."

Pyeongtaek City plans to thoroughly review the practical opinions discussed at the meeting and continue communication with private companies in order to smoothly prepare for the upcoming project operator selection process and to actively promote activities to attract private investment.
